Yes, IR Iran has given me what I wanted. And all they asked for in return was 10 minutes alone with a JCB and my bank account. They weren't very happy about me applying for a visa when my passport didn't have an entry stamp for Turkey (I used my other one). I sense difficult times ahead.
So with the oil changed
and the GPS skilfully wired in
my business in Istanbul is completed. Tomorrow morning I follow the time honoured tradition of throwing everything into a bag at the last second and head into Asia for the first (third) time.
